The Countryside Code
We hope you will take full advantage of the trails around the farm and the surrounding areas during your stay with us.
As part of that, we ask all our guests to respect, protect and enjoy their surroundings and the resident animals. The Countryside Code applies to all parts of the countryside and whilst most of it is just good common sense it is helpful to remind our guests of their responsibilities whilst enjoying their stay here at Nettlecombe.
Respect other people and animals
- Consider the local community and other people enjoying the outdoors
- Leave gates and property as you find them and follow paths unless wider access is available
- Keep your dogs under effective control, particularly around wildlife and livestock
Protect the natural environment
- Leave no trace of your visit and take your litter home
- Clean up after your dogs
And last but not least...
Enjoy the outdoors
- Plan ahead and be prepared
- Follow advice and local signs
