Starting a New Year
Well, here we are, firmly into 2023. There are frosty mornings and cold starry nights and here on the Farm, we’re looking forward to spring and everything that a new year brings.
Of course, whilst things are relatively quiet, that gives us the opportunity to make even more improvements to our holiday cottages and the Farm and this has included winning a Gold Green Impact Award and making our cottages more accessible with some help from Isle Access. And of course, spring will bring new animal arrivals, lamb feeding opportunities and plenty to do on the Island.
Looking forward further into the year, Walk the Wight in aid of Mountbatten Hospice will take place on the 14th of May and this year’s Isle of Wight Festival makes a return on the weekend of the 15th of June with headliner Robbie Williams gracing the stage as the Sunday headliner. Lace your boots up for the Walking Festival in June or if you’re a sailing fan the there’s Round the Island on the 1st of July, and Cowes Week from the 29th of July to the 4th of August – and even if you’re not a fan, then there’s plenty of shoreside entertainment across the week to enjoy. Our events page has all of the details of these dates and many more besides.
And lastly, our most popular holiday and half term breaks get booked up quickly, so as they say, book early to avoid disappointment!
