Embracing Mother Nature
Who doesn’t love a nature walk? The chance to get outside and really appreciate the countryside, the local flora, wildlife, seashore and everything in between. And what better than a nature walk with a guide…
With that in mind, we have partnered with Natural Links and experienced nature walk guide Dave Fairlamb to take you on a fabulous route from the farm known as the Stenbury Loop. Taking in not just farmland, woodland and fields, you can enjoy truly stunning views from the top of the Downs where on a clear day, you can see for miles around.
The walk will take place on Friday 18th of June from 9.30 – 12.30 and we’re sure that, at this time of year, the birds will be singing, early summer butterflies will be flitting, and the hedgerows and trees will be in full leaf and flower. There are a few steep sections to the walk, which is 5.2 miles, so make sure you wear outdoor waterproof clothing and walking shoes or boots. You should also bring a drink and snack with you for a refreshment break.
We will all of course be observing social distancing rules and current government guidance.
The walk is £15 per person and booking is essential - please email: natural.links@outlook.com
Please tag us in any social media pictures that you post – we always love to see people out and about and hope that this is the first of many walks!
